So many colleges offer remedial writing to students, because of poor writing skills. Similar to the use of auto correct, many persons are unable to spell well.

The human emotions around a situation are difficult to simulate with AI. How one feels about a situation, what emotions it stirs up and how that affects us is what enables good writing to make the connection among readers. Chat GPT and its successors will never be able to accomplish this task because it is a purely human experience, and those who rely solely on Chat GPT will always have writing lacking this key component. (And no Chat GPT did not write that. It was all my own.)
